About this Role

We are seeking a Revenue Accounting and Reporting Lead to deliver high-quality financial outcomes across multiple European markets, including Germany, Romania, and the Czech Republic. This role is responsible for overseeing Record-to-Report operations, including IFRS15 revenue accounting, general ledger processes, and financial reporting, while enabling automation and continuous improvement. The individual will act as an escalation point, lead transition initiatives, and build strong relationships with both internal teams and local market stakeholders.

What you will do

Lead end-to-end S15 revenue accounting and reporting, including month-end postings, accruals, rebates, and analysis of revenue components.
Oversee general ledger processes, including closing and opening periods, balance sheet reconciliations, HFM submissions, and SOX compliance.
Manage external audit requirements and statutory reporting deliverables.
Drive process improvement and automation initiatives within Record-to-Report activities using digital tools and AI-powered solutions.
Support lease accounting (S16) and ensure accurate reporting compliance.
Deliver insightful financial reporting, analytics, and performance metrics aligned with KPIs.
Lead transition of new processes from local markets into VOIS operations.
Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and local markets to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
Support internal control processes and ensure adherence to governance frameworks.
Guide and support team members in capability development, especially in automation and process efficiency initiatives.

Who you are

A finance professional with strong experience in accounting and reporting, preferably with exposure to IFRS standards.
Confident in stakeholder management and communication across global teams.
Skilled in team leadership and fostering a collaborative working environment.
Demonstrates strong analytical thinking and a proactive approach to problem-solving and transformation initiatives.
Able to manage multiple priorities effectively and deliver within timelines.
Qualified graduate with professional accounting experience (e.g., ACA, CIMA, or equivalent practical experience).
Experienced in financial systems and tools, including advanced Excel; familiarity with SAP and BlackLine/Cadency is required.
Interested in leveraging automation and technology to improve finance processes.
