About this role

We are seeking an Order to Cash professional to join our Finance Shared Services Centre (FSSC) in Pune, supporting Vodafone’s global operations. This role focuses on end-to-end Order to Cash (OTC) activities, with a strong emphasis on B2B invoicing, accounts receivable accuracy, customer query resolution, and month-end activities. The role plays a key part in improving cash flow, reducing revenue leakage, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.

What you’ll do

Process and create B2B invoices within agreed turnaround times, in line with company policies and controls.Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer master data to support effective billing, collections, and receipt clearing.Perform daily receipt clearing, invoicing volumes tracking, and follow-ups with customers via phone and email.Prepare and analyse reports including daily cash position, debtors’ ageing, accounts receivable balances, and month-end AR reports.Reconcile balance sheet accounts and support bad debt and revenue assurance activities.Investigate and resolve customer queries using analytical and problem-solving skills, enhancing overall customer experience.Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Treasury, Accounts Payable, Payment teams, and local market stakeholders.Support audit requirements and ensure adherence to global process owner (GPO) timelines and initiatives.Contribute to continuous improvement through automation, Lean or Six Sigma approaches, and process optimisation initiatives.

Who you are

A finance professional with a strong understanding of the end-to-end Order to Cash process and basic accounting principles, including journal entries.Proficient in German (speaking, reading, and writing) to support local market requirements.Experienced in using ERP systems, preferably Oracle or SAP, along with strong Microsoft Excel skills for reconciliations and reporting.An individual with 2–3 years of experience in a BPO/KPO or shared services environment, ideally supporting B2B customers.Analytical, detail-oriented, and confident in troubleshooting customer and process-related issues.A clear and professional communicator, able to engage effectively with stakeholders across geographies and functions.Familiar with the telecom industry and accounts receivable processes, including debt collection and cash forecasting (desirable).
