About this Role

We are seeking a skilled System Architect to design and drive technical solutions across Telco IT environments. The individual will translate business and functional requirements into scalable solution designs, oversee technical dependencies across multiple teams, and guide the end-to-end design and implementation of APIs and cloud-based integrations. This role is ideal for candidates with extensive experience in BSS architecture, DevOps, system design, and modern integration technologies.

What you’ll do

• Translate functional and business Telco requirements into comprehensive solution designs, ensuring consistency, scalability, and alignment across teams.
• Define and own the technical architecture, configuration approaches, and implementation plans across multiple designers and technical stakeholders.
• Develop, test, and maintain APIs using TIBCO BWCE, creating reusable components, executing migrations, and resolving platform issues.
• Design and support cloud‑hosted API management solutions, including reusable API proxy creation, cloud migration, load balancing, dynamic upstream configuration, deployment modes, plugins, and access control.
• Lead consulting and analytical sessions to address technical challenges, perform system health checks, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Configure secure and efficient interfaces for data exchange between services and front‑end applications in alignment with domain experts.
• Present high‑level, solution and technical designs to designers, testers, and DevOps engineers.
• Perform initial defect analysis, categorisation, and assignment to the relevant teams.
• Lead incident and workaround handling in complex production failure scenarios, collaborating closely with DevOps teams.
• Conduct code reviews and approve pull requests involving complex technical changes.
• Continuously collaborate with Product Owners and Product Managers to refine features, track enablers, and support long‑term technical roadmaps.

Who you are

Essential:
• More than 10 years of experience as a System Architect within BSS environments, including managing design dependencies across teams.
• Hands-on experience in Tibco, Java applications, Apigee, AWS DevOps, and Kafka.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in backend development using languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, and relational or NoSQL databases.
• At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps Architect.
• Proven leadership experience and strong understanding of system design and enterprise architecture.
• Experience working in SAFe Agile environments.
Preferred:
• SAFe Agile certifications.
• AWS cloud certifications and project experience.
• Experience with Kafka, caching solutions, relational/NoSQL databases, ArgoCD, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Grafana, and security tooling such as SAST, DAST, and SCA.
