About this Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented tax professional to support both direct and indirect taxation activities for VOIS India. This role is based in Pune and involves managing statutory compliance, supporting audits, and ensuring adherence to evolving tax regulations. The individual will play a key role in maintaining timely tax filings and handling SEZ-related requirements while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

What you’ll do

Support direct and indirect tax compliance activities across VOIS IndiaManage GST processes including return filing, audits, refunds and responses to departmental noticesCalculate and ensure timely payment of reverse charge GST liabilitiesFile Input Service Distributor (ISD) returnsSupport tax, statutory, and internal auditsMonitor regulatory updates in tax laws and assess their impact on Vodafone entitiesHandle SEZ compliance processes including APR, MPR, Softex, DSPF filings and related noticesEnsure timely filing of TDS returns and monthly withholding tax paymentsCollaborate with stakeholders to ensure all tax obligations are met within deadlines

Who you are

An experienced tax professional with around 10 years of expertise in direct and indirect taxationKnowledgeable in GST laws, rules, and procedures within the Indian regulatory frameworkAnalytical and solution-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem solvingStrong communicator with effective interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagementComfortable handling compliance processes, audits, and regulatory requirementsOpen to innovation and continuous improvement in tax processes
