About this Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect specialising in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design and deliver secure, scalable, and resilient cloud-native architectures. Based in Pune, the individual will support varied business and technical initiatives, lead cloud adoption programmes, and collaborate across engineering, security, and operations teams. The role requires strong expertise in GCP services, cloud governance, DevSecOps, and technical leadership.

What you’ll do

Design and implement secure, scalable, and resilient architectures on GCP.
Analyse business and technical requirements to create robust cloud-native solutions.
Lead cloud migration programmes, including lift‑and‑shift, modernisation, and greenfield deployments.
Collaborate with application development, operations, and security teams to deliver high-quality cloud-native applications.
Establish cloud governance frameworks ensuring compliance with security and cost-optimisation policies.
Evaluate and recommend new GCP services, features, and technologies based on project needs.
Optimise data workflows for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency using tools such as Terraform, Cloud Monitoring, and native GCP services.
Drive innovation through proof‑of‑concept initiatives and exploration of emerging cloud technologies.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering colleagues.
Scope, plan, and deliver applications with accountability to business and technology management.
Support Project Managers with technical estimations and resource allocation.
Contribute to organisational excellence through process adoption, tools optimisation, and quality uplift.

Who you are

5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering, including at least 3 years on GCP.
Deep knowledge of GCP services including Compute Engine, Cloud Run, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Dataflow, Dataproc, IAM, and Cloud Storage.
Strong understanding of networking, security, containers, CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and performance tuning in cloud environments.
Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools such as HashiCorp Vault.
12–15 years of overall experience with 3+ years in a GCP architecture role.
Holds a B.E./B.Tech, BCA/MCA, or BSc/MSc in Computer Science or a related field.
