About this Role
We are looking for a Senior Technical Lead / Lead Developer with strong expertise in K2View or Java to join our AI & Data Analytics tower. This role combines deep technical ownership with team leadership and stakeholder management.
You will be responsible for designing and delivering scalable data solutions using K2View, leading a team of developers, and working closely with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into robust, production‑ready implementations. The role spans development, testing, and production environments and requires a strong focus on quality, delivery governance, and operational stability. The position is based in Pune.
What you will do
Technical Delivery & Architecture
- Design, develop, and enhance K2View-based solutions (or Java-based integrations where applicable) across development, test, pre‑production, and production environments.
- Translate business and functional requirements into low‑level designs, technical specifications, and implementation plans.
- Implement and review logical units, services, and interfaces ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Perform unit and system testing and ensure smooth handover to deployment and production support teams.
- Provide second‑level production support, including data analysis, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and defect resolution.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, quality checklists, peer reviews, and testing best practices.
Team Leadership & Delivery Management
- Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and day‑to‑day support.
- Plan and estimate development and testing effort, supporting sprint planning and delivery commitments.
- Drive timely and high‑quality delivery across multiple workstreams while managing dependencies and risks.
- Foster a collaborative, quality‑driven, and accountable team culture.
Stakeholder & Business Engagement
- Act as a key technical point of contact for business users and internal stakeholders.
- Lead functional and technical discussions, proactively highlighting risks, constraints, and solution options.
- Support deployment and operations teams to ensure smooth production releases and minimal post‑go‑live issues.
Who you are
- 10–15 years of experience in data integration and application development, with strong hands‑on expertise in:
- K2View Fabric (Web/Database Services, Fabric CQLSH, Kafka integration, Smart Data Controller), OR
- A strong Java development background with solid coding standards and enterprise development best practices.
- Good working knowledge of Cassandra DB, SQL, ETL tools, and normalized data models.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Proven ability to balance hands‑on technical work with team leadership and stakeholder management.
- Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written), with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Analytical, structured problem‑solver with a proactive and ownership‑driven mindset.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Telecom domain experience is an advantage.
