About this Role

We are seeking an experienced integration professional to lead the design and development of TIBCO-based solutions within a critical telecom integration landscape supporting Vodafone UK. This role involves representing the integration domain across end-to-end requirement analysis, solution architecture, and delivery, ensuring optimised performance, scalability, and resource utilisation across releases.

What you’ll do

  • Represent the integration domain in end-to-end requirement analysis and solution design for each release.
  • Design and develop high-quality integration solutions using TIBCO technologies.
  • Provide optimised solutions that ensure robust system performance and efficient resource utilisation.
  • Lead complex solution design and implementation efforts across integration layers.
  • Review and enhance deliverables from development teams to ensure quality and alignment with standards.
  • Apply integration design patterns and best practices across all development activities.
  • Support production environments by acting as a final escalation point for critical incidents and root cause analysis.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and implement automation or optimisation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams, to ensure successful delivery.
  • Contribute to both Agile and Waterfall delivery models as required.

Who you are

  • A professional with 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in SOA/integration engineering with strong design and development expertise in TIBCO.
  • Experienced in end-to-end solution architecture within the telecom domain.
  • Proficient in TIBCO products (EMS 7.x/8.x, BW 5.x/6.x, ActiveSpaces, Adapters/SDK) and APIGEE.
  • Skilled in core Java, JMS, Oracle SQL, microservices, caching techniques, encryption standards, and security frameworks.
  • Knowledgeable in application/internet gateways and Canonical Data Models (CDM) and TMF frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of integration technologies, standards, and software engineering principles.
  • Capable of handling high-complexity solution design and implementation scenarios.
  • Comfortable working in high-pressure, dynamic environments while maintaining delivery quality.
  • Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Experienced in mentoring team members and fostering technical capability building.
  • Demonstrates ownership, accountability, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Holds a degree in Engineering (Electronics/Telecommunication/Computer/IT) or equivalent qualification such as MSc or MCA.
