About this Role

We are seeking an experienced Integration Designer / DevLead to work within the critical Tibco Integration layer supporting Vodafone UK’s business landscape. The individual will contribute to end‑to‑end requirement analysis, solution design, and high‑quality development delivery, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and operational reliability across multiple releases.

What you will do

  • Represent the integration domain during end‑to‑end requirements and solution design, providing optimised, high‑performing integration solutions.
  • Develop technical designs and lead hands‑on build activities across projects.
  • Lead complex solution design and implementation tasks, ensuring quality and consistency in every release.
  • Review and refine development outputs produced by project teams.
  • Support Agile and Waterfall delivery models as needed.Apply strong knowledge of integration patterns, development standards, and best practices.
  • Serve as a final escalation point during critical production issues with major business impact.
  • Detect inefficiencies and drive automation or process improvements where required.
  • Mentor team members, facilitate knowledge sharing, and contribute to building internal capability.
  • Communicate clearly with customers, vendors, and cross‑functional teams to ensure project success.

Who you are

  • Bring 5–7 years of hands‑on experience in SOA/Integration engineering, including design and development with Tibco technologies.
  • Have at least 2 years of exposure to strategic end‑to‑end solution architecture within the telecom domain.
  • Possess strong expertise in TIBCO products such as EMS 7.x/8.x, BW 5.x/6.x, Active Spaces, APIX, and adapters/SDK.
  • Demonstrate advanced skills in Java, JMS, Oracle SQL, caching methods, encryption standards, microservices, and security.
  • Hold strong command over integration technology, design principles, and software engineering practices.
  • Able to lead technical conversations, influence stakeholders, and operate effectively in high‑pressure environments.
  • Exhibit ownership, accountability, and the ability to escalate issues early.
  • Hold an educational background such as BE/ME/MTech (Electronics/Telecommunication/Computer/IT), MSc (Electronics/IT/Computer Science), or MCA.
