What you’ll do
Role purpose:
The Finance Transformation & Pricing Lead is a key leadership role responsible for governing, maintaining and being accountable for Pricing activities of VSOL services. This position requires a robust understanding of pricing mechanics in a service delivery context (ideally in a technology industry) strong analytical skills, and the ability to credibly communicate with business leadership members.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead the Pricing Team in executing pricing activities for VSOL
- Review initial billing (pricing x quantity) outputs produced leveraging Pricing models, to assess accuracy, prior to communication with e.g. Finance Business Partners, Billing and FP&A
- Identify, escalate and help solution for key issues blocking pricing activities including e.g. pricing of new services, pricing management of existing services and production of initial billing outputs (pricing x quantity)
- Lead communications around key pricing activities and outputs with business leadership members e.g. Finance, Heads of Service Lines
- Help inform Commercial pricing decisions for services with reference to market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights.
- Oversee and maintain the Price list, directing the Pricing Team to sup-port Change Requests for revised Price computations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. service delivery, finance and IT) to align pricing computations/determination with commercial business objectives and help implement strategies
- Provide oversight and governance of pricing input into dependent systems e.g. service management and billing systems, ensuring accuracy and application of the right pricing data
- Monitor the performance of existing pricing models and collaborate with IT to ensure Pricing solutions remain fit-for-purpose.
- Oversee the development of pricing models, tools and processes to sup-port pricing strategy implementation.
Who you are
Must have technical/professional qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Extended level of experience in a senior pricing role, ideally within a technology industry.
- Strong understanding of pricing methodologies, including value-based pricing, cost-plus pricing, and competitive pricing.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with a high proficiency with Excel.
- Experience with Anaplan is desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
