Location: Ratingen

Role purpose: to manage, maintain, operate, and further develop the global Vodafone Azure Cloud platform, it’s landing zones, workloads, subscriptions, tenants, billing profiles and policies. To manage the Azure RBAC and identity framework in conjunction with Group Architecture, Cyber and Office IT. To maintain Azure to VF DC connectivity alongside Vodafone networks. To develop and maintain the Azure product catalogue and its automated CI/CD pipelines as well as infra deployment capabilities via Infrastructure as Code. To leverage and further develop the Azure Landing Zone and Azure Product Catalogue blueprints in line with customer workload requirements.
The role performs a variety of the most complex tasks, quickly restoring Azure platform & workload capabilities after failure. To analyse the most complex technical problems and deliver solutions for the same even when precedent does not exist. To lead the communication with VF local market and VF Group leaders during incidents, provide action plans on service recovery, root cause analysis, as well as identification and implementation of preventive measures to avoid reoccurrence

What you will do

•    Work autonomously to assure the 24*7 availability of the Azure Cloud platform and its workloads in line with SLA targets
•    Interface with the Datacentre Consolidation program, enabling Landing Zone evolution and workload migration capabilities
•    Maintain a strong relationship with stakeholders required for a successful Azure migration, ensuring a smooth collaboration with local market technology leaders and their technical business users
•    Develop effective CI/CD pipelines and Azure Cloud product blueprints to efficiently manage Azure infra deployments as code
•    Apply FinOps methodologies to assure efficient Azure consumption for workloads

What sets you apart

•    Leading knowledge on Azure & enterprise IT
•    Leading social & communication skills
•    Degree in IT or 5 years of experience in enterprise IT and Cloud services
•    Leading knowledge on CI/CD pipeline and Infra-As-Code workload and platform development automation using Terraform
•    At least 5 years of experience with Azure Cloud technologies: Terraform, Azure API, PowerShell, Python, Github Enterprise, Azure DevOps, Azure Landing Zone, Azure Express Route, Azure Workload & Pipeline automation
•    Strong knowledge of agile SAFe principles & methods as well as SOX & other regulations
