SCM Business Partner - Commercial Affairs

Within the Finance Department, the SCM Business Partner - Commercial Affairs is in charge of close purchase negotiation and contract with supplier in order to obtain the best economic and technical conditions. 
Particularly he/she is involved in analyse different scenarios of strategy negotiation and evaluation of supplier offers  in order to maximizing saving results.  

Key Responsibilities

  • To analyse the budget data and the existing condition on wholesale market to set negotiation strategy.
  • In a tender commercial procedure with supplier, to arrange the offer requirement and manage offers received by supplier in order to evaluate the best offers and assign the award.
  • To lead the negotiation with the supplier and close the related contract
  • To lead the reconciliation results of saving that comes from a closed agreement.
  • Calculate commercial penalties  

Behaviours & Competencies

  • Strong negotiation skills in order to obtain best economic and technical purchase conditions 
  • Good knowledge of a contract structure in order to close purchase agreement with supplier.
  • Good knowledge of fixed market reference and wholesale services (ULL, SLU, FTTC, FTTH, BTS, VULA- SDH E2C-GEA ecc)  for residential and business customer.
  • Good knowledge of fixed wholesale services related to network infrastructure.

Functional & Technical / Skills

  • Excel and Power Point advanced knowledge
  • Exellent analytics ability and management of data.
  • Fluent English (both written and spoken)
  • Knowledge of sourcing procedure and related reporting systems
  • Proactive approach
  • Ability to relate to supplier and Vodafone departments

Credentials & Experience

  • Experience as a buyer
  • Accounting background
  • Technology experience
