Role Purpose

Role purpose:  
•    This technical project manager oversees network projects in APAC and the Middle East, and supports field engineering in South Korea as needed.
•    This role collaborates with internal teams (such as Network Platform, Optimization, Network Operations, Finance, Partner Management, and Sales) and external suppliers worldwide to deliver projects and achieve results.
•    This position is essential for compliance with the telecommunications licensing requirements in South Korea.

What you’ll do

Key accountabilities and decision ownership: 
•    Project Management: Oversee projects from inception to completion, including planning, kick-offs, progress tracking, risk management, and stakeholder coordination. 
•    Project Planning: Manage requirements, resources and priorities.
•    Financial Management: Manage and monitor project budget, costs, and savings.
•    Field Operation Support: Assist Network Operations and North Asia Deployment teams with network tasks as required.
•    Stakeholder Management: Address and coordinate stakeholder concerns and requirements.

Who you are

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
•    Project Management: Demonstrated expertise in overseeing network projects, including successful leadership of cross-functional teams.
•    Technical expertise in telecom networks: Global IP, Transmission, Internet, Peering, and Cloud.
•    Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities for engaging with stakeholders representing a variety of cultures and professions across Europe, APAC, and the Middle East. Proficiency in Korean and English is required; knowledge of an additional Asian language is preferred.
•    Analytical Thinking: Demonstrates the capability to evaluate complex technical and business requirements and convert them into effective project plans.
•    Leadership Abilities: Proven capacity to guide and motivate teams, effectively enhancing performance while promoting a collaborative and continuously improving work environment.

Must have technical / professional qualifications: 
•    Minimum 5 years of experience in network project manager or engineer capacity
•    Obtained a national technical qualification as Engineer in Telecommunications Business under the National Technical Qualifications Act in South Korea is preferred ***
