We are looking for an Agile Programme Manager focusing to ensure projects within your programme are  achieving customer and portfolio commitments processes are lean and streamlined. Product and engineering teams are happy and furthermore, stakeholders are satisfied. 
 
As Agile Programme Manager you will apply project management and Agile knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques. The role will interface with Business, Vendors, Operations, other Vodafone stakeholders. The Agile Programme Manager must have the confidence to manage up and provide reporting as well as meeting updates to Senior  Management.

 
The role has the following responsibilities:

  • Oversee projects within your program, monitoring their progress and the status of the work  teams engage in, ensuring successful, timely deliveries 
  • Identify dependencies, guide decision-making, identify and raise risks, solve problems, and  provide analytical insights about the project performance.
  • Successfully collaborated with Product, Scrum Master & Engineering in multifunctional teams.
  • Assisting the self-organizing, self-managing team goals.
  • Ensuring the path is clear for your team, removing blockers, facilitating discussions, enabling seamless communications, and working with the Product Owner to clarify the product and project backlogs.
  • Teach or mentor less experienced in modern Agile concepts, values, principles, practices and better project management practices.
  • Successful management and co-ordination of virtual teams based in multiple locations.
  • Understanding and management of delivery dependencies and interdependencies.

 
What you bring?
 

  • Proven Agile Programme Management skills and track record of successful delivery  in the Telecoms industry and/or large Enterprise IT business.
  • +4/5 years experience in programme or project management.
  • Ability to communicate complex messages in a simple way, in a multicultural environment to both management and working level. 
  • Experience of working in agile at scale and with distributed agile teams.
  • Strong communication and decision making skills – ability to balance conflicting interests and manage escalations.
