Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits
Working hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday

What you’ll do

As Channel Vendor & Engagement Lead you’ll help ensure our vendor partnerships deliver meaningful value for customers, colleagues and the business. You’ll work at the intersection of commercial strategy, partner engagement and operational excellence, creating impactful relationships that enhance capability, strengthen performance and support long-term growth. Working within a modern operating model supported by offshore resources, you’ll focus on strategic value creation, governance and commercial optimisation while helping to build a culture and customer experience that sets new industry standards.

You will:

  • Develop and deliver a vendor engagement strategy that aligns partner activity with channel priorities, business objectives and long-term capability plans.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with vendors, content providers and agency partners, creating collaborative partnerships that deliver measurable value.
  • Lead annual and in-year investment planning, ensuring vendor funding is directed towards initiatives that support business goals and maximise return on investment.
  • Identify opportunities to increase value through sponsorships, co-funded initiatives, strategic partnerships and commercial negotiations.
  • Establish performance frameworks, service expectations and success measures that drive accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor vendor performance, track deliverables and proactively manage risks, compliance requirements and governance processes.
  • Oversee contractual obligations, statements of work, invoicing processes and commercial controls to ensure transparency and effective management.
  • Coordinate engagement campaigns, events and activities that increase colleague awareness, capability and enthusiasm for new products, services and operational changes.
  • Ensure vendor-created content is aligned with brand standards, business priorities, channel requirements and readiness timelines.
  • Collaborate closely with Communications, Capability and Engagement teams to integrate vendor content into impactful channel communications and campaigns.
  • Analyse engagement, capability and performance data to generate insights that improve campaign effectiveness, vendor performance and business outcomes.
  • Gather feedback from frontline teams, contact centres and partner channels to continuously enhance content, engagement approaches and vendor support.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations and commercial insights to senior stakeholders, supporting investment decisions and future strategy.
  • Direct and prioritise offshore operational resources to ensure reporting, governance administration, platform management, communications and campaign activity are delivered efficiently and effectively.   

  

Who you are

  • Experience managing vendors, agencies or  partners in telecoms, retail, customer operations or similar fast-paced environments. 
  • Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to balance business priorities and customer outcomes. 
  • Skilled at building trusted relationships and influencing stakeholders, partners and suppliers. 
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and deliverables. 
  • Knowledge of Retail, Contact Centre and/or Indirect Sales channel operations, alongside communications, engagement or campaign delivery experience. 
  • Confident evaluating content, analysing performance data and turning insights into actionable recommendations. 
  • Strong understanding of governance, risk, compliance and operational controls, with a focus on continuous improvement. 
  • An inclusive, solutions-focused team player who combines attention to detail with a strategic mindset.
