Sales Operations Manager

Location: Stoke Contact Centre
Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits
Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Mon to Fri
Duration: 12 month contract

What you’ll do 

 

The Consumer Sales & Care (CSC) channel consists of more than 4,000 people, providing Sales and Service support via Voice, Webchat and Social Media. 

As Sales Operations Manager, you will lead the entire Voice based sales operation within our In House teams, more than 600 agents, across our Voice and WebChat channels. This will be across both our Stoke based Sales Centre of Excellence and a small Work from Home team. You will work in a fast-paced, people-orientated department.


You will be working closely with the Senior Manager of Consumer Sales and the Head of the CSC department and the wider leadership team to deliver against Vodafone UK’s sales and customer targets.

•    You will manage the Stoke Centre of Excellence and the 600+ Consumer FTE based on site and work from home teams.
•    You will represent the Senior Manager Consumer Sales, Head of Consumer Sales & Care and wider Leadership team with internal and external stakeholders.
•    You will lead all our recruitment and Academy activities to ensure we maintain our current standards whilst maintaining the budgeted position.
•    You will continue to develop the award-winning culture, driving engagement and establishing the department as the best place to work and an area where opportunities for talent progression are abundant.
•    You will support to create and manage the talent pipeline into the wider business helping us deliver on our company REACH objectives.

•    You will have experience of managing large, multi-site geographically dispersed teams.
•    You will have experience of operating in a Sales and Customer Centric focused environment.
•    You will have strong people leadership and communication skills to guide and influence both inside and outside of Vodafone.
•    You will have a proven record of driving Commercial sales revenues strategies and adapting to different conditions achieving significant business growth
•    You will be an evidenced motivational People leader who drives our Spirit values.
•    You will have the ability to solve complex problems, make confident decisions and lead change in an evolving environment.
