SME Business Development Manager
What you’ll do
The SME Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and maintaining relationships with high value SME enterprises. The role requires strategic thinking, proactive prospecting, and a consultative sales approach to understand and address the unique needs of clients.
Key Accountabilities:
- Identify and target prospective high value SME clients through research, networking, and market analysis.
- Deep understanding of competitors and leveraging insights for strategic advantage.
- Build and maintain a robust professional network across industries.
- Engage internal and external stakeholders effectively to align goals.
- Craft compelling narratives to present products, services, or partnerships.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- In-depth understanding of the company’s offerings and their value propositions.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to generate leads and execute targeted campaigns.
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field, Master degree or MBA for a comprehensive customer 360 understanding will be an asset
- Understanding of technical/IT business solutions
- Enthusiastic and passionate, with a strong customer orientation
- Capable of identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities
- Interest to learn about the latest business services and products
- Proven experience gained within a business sales channel (must have minimum 3-4 years B2B sales experience)
- Fluent knowledge of English language (oral & written)
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
