What you’ll do

The role is responsible for driving our transformation journey within Digital & IT domain. It will establish and execute a portfolio framework to ensure projects are properly tracked (schedule, budget, scope) and issues/risks are mitigated in an efficient manner. The role is responsible for D&IT Capex and Opex planning and execution tracking. It will also drive and be responsible for the delivery of strategically key projects.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and align Technology roadmap and framework, support cross-technology roadmap planning and regular business reviews and statuses
  • Cooperates with all technology department local & global regarding technical information gathering and roadmap alignment 
  • Govern implementation of D&IT strategy while including local and global stakeholder demands as well as alignment to financial and commercial plans
  • Drive yearly Capex/Opex budget planning and execution. Prioritize technology budget within given and agreed plans ensuring efficient use of resources in alignment with finance controlling
  • Ensure the production, measurement and achievement of key performance indicators to drive performance across Digital & IT
  • Contribute to cluster portfolio framework creation and execution
  • Define project scope and objectives
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner

  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
  • Drive monthly portfolio review with ExCo highlighting successes and ensuring deliveries are prioritised based on fastest return on investments.
  • Monitor progress and adjust as needed
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Fosters a customer-focused approach and ensures effective team working; encouraging ownership and initiative as well as ensuring that lessons are learnt after failures.
  • Drive domain efficiency programs and further develop organizational excellence
  • Challenge technology units and identify potentials for efficiency, and determine trade offs 

Who you are

  • Very well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in IT Projects Management.
  • Business & Stakeholder Management.
  • Oriented on building strong relationships and focused on problem-solving.
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work to tight and demanding timescales.
  • Financial analysis and analytic reasoning
  • High level of self-motivation, energy, and ownership.
  • Excellent analytic and leadership skills
  • Organised and able to prioritise effectively
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new business domains and technologies
  • Experience in portfolio management, aligning and providing status/feedback to C level executives.
  • Studies covering Telecommunication /Computer Science/IT. Qualified with post graduate professional experience MSc or MBA.
  • Proven experience as IT/Technology Project Manager/Coordinator.
  • In depth knowledge of mobile/fixed Products and Services currently in market (local/global context).
