About this Role

We are seeking an individual to join the Finance Operations team as a Commission Analyst, supporting commission assurance across a diverse and complex global portfolio. This role is focused on ensuring commission calculations and payments are delivered accurately, on time, and in line with governance and control standards. The role partners closely with business units across Vodafone Group, contributing insight that supports sales performance decisions and maintaining strong audit and compliance outcomes.

What you’ll do

• Deliver timely and accurate commission calculations for assigned sales channels, aligned to agreed commission calendars. 
• Own commission reporting activities, ensuring payment sign-off processes are completed within required timelines. 
• Support data analytics activities related to commission calculations and performance insights. 
• Contribute analytics and insights to Commission Review Boards to support informed decision-making. 
• Assist in the preparation and correct distribution of sales target letters. 
• Produce business performance reports and analyse outcomes to assess commission effectiveness and success. 
• Identify control gaps, and support the design and implementation of controls to mitigate financial and operational risks. 
• Ensure all commission calculations and payments are auditable, traceable, and compliant with internal governance, risk, and compliance standards. 
• Support internal and external audits related to commission processes. 
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders across the Vodafone business units supported by VGX.

Who you are

• An individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable engaging with stakeholders at multiple organisational levels. 
• Experienced in analytical work, business modelling, and structured reporting methodologies. 
• Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy, quality, and delivery against deadlines. 
• Comfortable working in a structured, disciplined, and proactive manner within a regulated finance environment. 
• Experienced or knowledgeable in compensation or commission management, audit, or control-focused roles. 
• Educated to degree level in Economics, Informatics, Mathematics, or a related discipline. 
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools, with advanced English language skills (written and spoken). 
• Familiar with ERP systems (such as SAP), with exposure to Power BI, commission tools, or programming considered an advantage.
