What you’ll do
The Head of Core IT Solutions is accountable for the end to end ownership, stability, evolution, and delivery of Vodafone Albania’s Core IT solutions, ensuring they reliably enable business operations, growth, and digital transformation.
The role acts as the single accountable owner for Core IT solution domains, translating business demand into secure, scalable, and cost effective technology solutions, while ensuring alignment with Vodafone Group technology standards and local regulatory requirements.
Key role focus areas:
• Core IT solution platforms supporting BSS / OSS / CRM / Billing and enterprise integrations
• Solution lifecycle ownership from architecture through delivery to operational readiness
• Core IT contribution to digital and BSS transformation initiatives
• Technology risk, obsolescence, and technical debt across Core IT
Job Responsibilities
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
Define and own the Core IT Solutions roadmap for Vodafone Albania, aligned with:
- Local business strategy
- D&IT priorities
- Vodafone Group architectural blueprints
Drive the evolution from legacy platforms towards simplified, modular, cloud‑enabled solutions.
Lead Core IT solution delivery across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models
Ensure predictable delivery outcomes across:
- Scope
- Budget
- Timelines
- Quality
Actively remove cross‑team dependencies and delivery blockers involved:
- Architecture
- IT Operations
- Cyber Security
- Vendors and System Integrators
Ensure solutions meet requirements for performance, security, compliance, and operational supportability.
Who you are
- 5+ years’ experience in IT solution delivery and leadership
- Strong background in Core IT / BSS / OSS / CRM / Billing platforms
- Strong expertise in microservices, API integrations, and cloud platforms
- Proven leadership in complex and regulated environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement and vendor governance experience
- Strong financial acumen and risk‑based decision making
- Proven ability to build and lead high‑performing IT teams
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
- Hold a relevant degree on Computer Science, Engineering, or IT
- Excellent knowledge of English (speaking and writing)
- Certification in relevant technologies or methodologies is advantageous
