Your role in a nutshell:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Corporate Operations Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial accounting processes related to accounts receivable (AR), maintaining compliance with Vodafone Group standards and statutory requirements, manage constructive 3rd party relationships, and providing insightful reporting to support business decisions.
What you’ll do:
- Oversee and ensure the accuracy of key processes, including Interconnection, Roaming, Lease Lines Netting, Revenue Sharing, and Reverse Charges, all within the Order-to-Cash (OTC) framework.
- Maintain the integrity of the customer sub-ledger, actively managing associated risks and controls to safeguard financial data.
- Evaluate and analyze changes to agreements and new contracts, ensuring that all modifications align with organizational objectives and compliance requirements.
- Third-Party Management: Manage relationships and invoicing processes with third-party partners, ensuring accurate mutual invoicing and timely settlement of accounts
- Conduct monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations (BSR) for all Accounts Receivable (AR) related General Ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure compliance with accounting and governance standards for invoice postings, adhering to VF Group Accounting Standards and Local GAAP to maintain regulatory integrity.
- Generate comprehensive Revenue Reports for various streams, including Interconnection and Roaming, providing both month-end summaries and ad-hoc insights for business operations.
- Prepare month-end close accruals for non-invoiced receivables and payables, ensuring all financial activities are accurately recorded in a timely manner.
- Deliver relevant, accurate, and timely AR data for Financial Statements and stakeholder reporting, including support for Group and internal/external auditors.
- Act as an internal subject matter expert, offering critical review and constructive challenge on Receivables metrics reported by various internal teams to enhance data accuracy and reliability.
What will you bring to the team:
- 3-5 years related experience.
- Proficient in use of accounting applications - experience with SAP is an advantage.
- Proficient Excel skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical skills.
- Motivated and driven to deliver results
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
- Master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SAP.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge / work experience of International Financial Standards.
- Experience in corporate operations or other relevant finance operations positions.
- Strong analytical abilities and abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced knowledge of English
