Your role in a nutshell:

Responsible for processing requests raised by Local Market / Third Party vendor related to Contract Creation, Contract Modification, Queries, legal letters, and Invoice Processing. Understanding the impact of selecting the correct conditions while setting up a contract and end to end process flow to ensure that escalations and site cuts are kept to a minimum. One of the main objectives is to ensure timely processing and payments to the landlords as per country specific tax and legal requirements and ensuring compliance with internal/ external audit and SOX requirements including any reconciliations/interactions with them. 

Additionally, the employee must ensure accurate financial reporting and accounting through Sox controls, balance sheet reconciliations as per Vodafone and local market policies and Tax, Legal and Statutory (TLS) requirements

What you’ll do:

• Engages with other stakeholders to effectively reach operational targets
• Oversee dependencies and grasp upstream processes to guarantee timely contract postings and payments
• Measurement of monthly KPI's around Real Estate finance processes with detailed Root cause analysis and actions to improve
• Completion of month end procedures and processes including Balance Sheet analysis in line with IFRS 16 rules and regulations
• Continuous process improvement by the Identification of control weaknesses and deficiencies or inefficient processes and correction thereof.

What will you bring to the team:

Fluency in Greek and English with excellent oral and written communication skills.  
• Experience in Real Estate/Accounts Payable and Lease Accounting (IFRS 16) (Desirable) or have any finance operations/accounting experience.
• Strong communication skills - able to influence at a variety of levels and across functions 
• Experience of working in a multinational environment  
• Comfortable working in a very fast-changing and high-pressure environment.
• Proactive identification, reporting and resolution of issues with the key stakeholders

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

• University degree in Accounting or Finance
• Proven experience of minimum 2-4 years as an accountant
• MS Office working knowledge with advanced excel knowledge. 
• SAP working knowledge (Desired) 
• IFRS knowledge (Desired)
