About this Role
What you’ll do
• Promote, maintain, and enhance an effective financial and operational control environment across Vodafone Business and relevant legal entities.
• Conduct risk assessments, control reviews, and assurance activities to evaluate control design and operating effectiveness.
• Monitor compliance with group control frameworks and policies and support the timely resolution of identified gaps.
• Identify control weaknesses, improvement opportunities, and audit findings, while supporting stakeholders in defining and implementing remediation plans.
• Review and monitor financial impacts arising from control weaknesses to support accurate and transparent financial reporting.
• Maintain and enhance controls documentation, testing methodologies, and assurance reporting, using data analytics where appropriate.
• Deliver training, guidance, and assurance insights to control owners and senior stakeholders.
Who you are
• Experienced in internal or external audit, Sarbanes-Oxley controls, internal controls assessment, risk management, or related assurance activities, with at least four years of relevant experience.
• Skilled at analysing complex business processes, identifying risks, and solving problems through a structured and independent approach.
• Able to deliver high-quality work within agreed timelines in a fast-changing environment.
• Strong communicator with excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
• Experienced in multinational and multicultural environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications and familiar with data analytics tools such as Power BI or Qlik.
• Fluent in English, with very good knowledge of Italian language
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA or CIA, or progress towards them, are valued.
