Your role in a nutshell:

End to end regular and ad-hoc accounting and financial analyses related to various activities for Interconnection service with Telco operators. It includes: Provide traffic data and expertise for invoice validation and creation by ensuring correctness and quality in accounting systems. Process outgoing payments by validating payment proposals, preparing payable netting proposals and handling payment requests. Manage complex AR invoices by handling billing data, generating outgoing invoices, and resolving invoice related issues with stakeholders. Process incoming payments by allocating them to customer accounts, performing complex financial clearing, preparing receivable nettings, and resolving issues with 3rd party stakeholders. Actively monitoring the outstandings and perform collection activities in case of aged receivable balances. Prepare reports for different related processes/issues with both internal and external stakeholders (also collaboration for in-house SOX controls and independent auditors). Perform month-end-close activities, prepare accrual posting for both receivables and payables, reclassify the costs and receivables in P&L for maintain accurate financial closing, classify and store data in the BSR system, and participate in BS and P&L review meetings. Prepare and analyse and present Bad Debt for netted interconnection balances. Cooperate with stakeholders to resolve disputes. Provide reports and business knowledge regarding balance movements, judgmental decisions, and other related information to assess GL positions. Performs master data management and contract accounting for real estate leases. React and improve processes to different system/regulatory/local market changes and requests.

What you’ll do:

• Collaborates with broadband suppliers, local markets, and vendors to maintain support and engagement.
• Executes month-end close activities, including accruals, reclassifications, bad debt calculations, and BSR-s for Interconnection and Real Estate.
• Provides consultancy to business partners by presenting BSR reports with financial impact and assessing the feasibility of proposed modifications.
• Manages real estate contract leases through activities such as creation, updating, booking, monitoring, and termination or renewal.
• Conducts controls for Interconnection and roaming traffic data, resolving disputes with vendors.
• Works with teams in Budapest and Düsseldorf to address queries and issues related to Interconnection and Roaming.
• Perform complex finance and accounting activities in AR/AP/GL, financial clearing and in-outgoing payment related activities
•  Participates in SAP EVO/ Other system migration testing and changes, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence and improve productivity.
•  Identifies and engages in projects to enhance data quality and processes, offering guidance to team members for implementation.
