About this Role

We are seeking a Telco End-to-End Finance Specialist to support financial operations related to interconnection services with telecommunications operators. This role is responsible for end-to-end accounting activities across accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger processes, ensuring accurate billing, payments, reconciliations, month-end close activities and financial reporting. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple markets, contribute to process improvements, support compliance activities and provide financial insights that support business decisions.

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end accounting activities related to interconnection services, including billing, collections, payments, reconciliations and financial clearing. 
• Validate traffic and billing data to ensure accurate invoice creation, processing and dispute resolution. 
• Process incoming and outgoing payments, netting activities and account allocations in line with agreed timelines and controls. 
• Execute month-end close activities, including accruals, reclassifications, bad debt analysis and balance sheet reconciliations. 
• Monitor outstanding balances and lead collection activities to reduce aged receivables. 
• Prepare financial reports, analyses and presentations for internal stakeholders, auditors and business partners. 
• Support compliance activities, including SOX controls, audit requests and financial governance requirements. 
• Maintain and administer real estate lease contracts, including creation, updates, monitoring, renewals and terminations. 
• Collaborate with teams across international locations to resolve operational and financial queries. 
• Participate in system enhancements, testing activities and process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and data quality. 
• Support master data management activities and ensure accurate financial records are maintained.

Who you are

• Experience in finance, accounting or shared services environments, ideally within telecommunications or a related industry. 
• Strong understanding of accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger processes and financial reporting. 
• Experience working with SAP and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. 
• Knowledge of databases, reporting tools or Power BI is advantageous. 
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities. 
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills. 
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. 
• Customer-focused mindset with a collaborative approach to working across teams. 
• Fluent in spoken and written Italian and intermediate English language skills. 
• Flexibility to work in a hybrid or remote working environment.
