What will you do

Responsible for ensuring the company’s adherence to all regulatory, legal, and internal compliance requirements. This role involves implementing compliance programs, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring that company policies align with local and Group Companies requirements. The Compliance Lead will also collaborate with internal teams to mitigate risks and maintain operational integrity.

Job Responsibilities

Regulatory Compliance

  • Monitor and interpret telecommunications regulations, laws, and industry standards.
  • Ensure the company’s operations comply with national and international telecom regulations (e.g., Antibribery Laws, Health & Safety, Environmental Laws, Privacy laws, Security standards etc.).

Policy Development & Implementation

  • Develop and enforce internal compliance policies, procedures, and controls in line with Group requirements.
  • Regularly update company policies to reflect regulatory changes and best practices.
  • Monitor internal compliance training programs for employees.

Risk Management & Audits

  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential compliance risks.
  • Lead internal compliance audits and collaborate with external auditors when necessary.
  • Implement corrective actions to address compliance gaps.

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

 

  • Master’s degree in law, Business Administration, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or risk management preferably within the telecommunications or technology sector.
  • Thorough knowledge of telecommunications regulations and industry standards and corporate governance and risk management frameworks.​​​​​​​

Ethics & Corporate Governance

  • Ensure ethical business practices and adherence to corporate governance policies.
  • Promote a culture of compliance and integrity within the company.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate compliance records and documentation.
  • Prepare compliance reports for senior management and Group Audit.
  • Track and report compliance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Teamwork

  • Work together with the other colleagues in the Legal, Regulatory and Strategy Department and colleagues from all other Departments of the Company, as well as colleagues from Vodafone Group or Other VF Group Operating Companies and external partners.

Vodafone Group Law Practice Groups

  • Active participation and contribution to the Vodafone Group Compliance Community;
  • Representation of Vodafone Albania in the respective Practice Group and Point of Contact for Vodafone Albania;

  • Excellent command of Albanian and English language, both spoken and written
  • Very good communication and writing, reporting, presentation, and computing skills

  • Quality of legal work and advice
  • Control Score of the respective Group Policy Practice assigned
