Corporate Security Specialist
What you’ll do
The Corporate Security Specialist develop, implement, and maintain strategies and programs to raise awareness and promote best practices in cyber security and information security within the Vodafone. Protect Vodafone confidential information from un-authorized disclosure/leakage through the implementation of proper controls. Implement, review, and improve the controls. Understand different technologies and give recommendations to reduce security vulnerabilities and increase information/business assurance.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure Vodafone Albania products, services, systems and processes are compliant with information security best practices.
- Protect and secure confidential information and customer data privacy.
- Monitor, investigate and identify any relative risks, threats, improvement opportunities to ensure and maintain effective information security prevention / detection controls, mechanisms and best practices.
- Identifies potential cases of information leakage by processing internal/external security referrals.
- Participate and follow-up on any information security audit.
- Perform information security risk assessments and provide recommendations and relative corrective actions on New Products / Services.
- Review Business & Technical specification documents or contracts from Information Security point of view.
- Conduct timely investigations on all suspected breaches of Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of confidential information.
- Create and Deliver security awareness communications and training to employees.
- Perform information security audits for critical third parties.
- Align local information security policies with international standards and most recent recommendations.
- Propose specialized advice with internal stakeholders regarding information security areas.
Who you are
- University degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Information Economics.
- Good Knowledge of mobile telecom networks (including GSM, GPRS, 3G and 4G).
- Working knowledge/operational experience in investigations.
- Knowledge of Data Leakage Prevention systems.
- Experience in communication and training.
- Experience on the protection of confidential information.
- Very good investigative, analytical and reporting skills.
- Interpersonal skills, enthusiastic and with great attention to detail.
- 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role in a Telecoms or Banking Sector
- Experience in implementation of ISO/SOX compliance programs
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and management
- Certifications in the area of information security would be beneficial.
