What you’ll do

Responsible for the delivery of Fixed Access Network projects, ensuring successful planning, implementation, and execution. The role covers configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of HFC and FTTH infrastructures, including CMTS, BNG, AAA (RADIUS/DHCP), and CGNAT platforms. Actively contributes to network modernization initiatives, technology upgrades, and works closely with cross-functional teams to support service launches, migrations, and continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities

  • Configure, and maintain HFC network components, ensuring stable and efficient service delivery.
  • Monitoring and managing the utilization, performance and capacity of cable infrastructures that include CMTS and other HFC components.
  • Configure and maintain CGNAT solutions to ensure IPv4 address optimization and smooth IPv6 transition.
  • Manage BNG platforms for user authentication, session management, and service delivery, include also AAA systems (RADIUS/DHCP).
  • Support FTTH deployments, including OLT/ONT configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Participate in network projects on Fixed Access area, including modernization and new technology adoption.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for service launches, migrations, and upgrades.
  • Prepare written reports and other technical documentation necessary to communicate ideas, concepts, and details necessary to accomplish specific goals.

Who you are

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

  • Strong knowledge of HFC network architecture and DOCSIS standards.
  • Hands-on experience with IP routing (OSPF, BGP, IS-IS) and switching (VLAN, STP, QoS).
  • Experience with BNG platforms (e.g., Cisco, Nokia, Juniper) and AAA systems (RADIUS/DHCP).
  • Solid understanding of CGNAT, NAT44/64, and IPv6 technologies.
  • Knowledge of FTTH technologies (GPON/XGSPON), OLT/ONT configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with network monitoring and performance tools (SNMP, NetFlow, Wireshark).
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High levels of self-motivation, energy and initiative.
  • Ability to work individually or as part of a team. Good time management skills are essential to achieve personal and team objectives and meet deadlines. Takes accountability for identifying & addressing service issues
  • Organized and able to prioritize effectively

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

  • University studies covering Telecommunication / IT sciences. Preferred master’s degree.
  • Min 5 years’ experience in telecommunication Fixed Access Network is essential 
  • Telecommunication technology know-how varying from Network, Operations areas, latest technology developments.
  • Knowledge of Fixed Network Products and Services currently in market (local/global)
