Role Title:  Legal Sn Manager
Location: Italy, Vizzola Ticino (VA)

Role Purpose

The Legal Sn Manager will act as the primary legal advisor for Vodafone Automotive being responsible for overseeing corporate governance, providing legal advice and support in contractual matters and offering legal guidance to ensure compliance with national regulations in the countries where Vodafone Automotive provide its services. This role plays a critical part in supporting the company’s business operations, risk management and corporate objectives. 

What you’ll do

  • Day to day responsibility for providing accurate, effective and timely legal advice, analysis and support on corporate, commercial and contractual matters relating to the Vodafone Automotive businesses. 
  • Drafting and negotiating significant /complex contracts and other legal documents relating to deals with multinational companies, service providers and carriers arising through the operations of the Vodafone Automotive businesses. 
  • Identifying areas of risk for Vodafone Automotive in relation to commercial and contractual legal issues affecting the business and assisting in providing solutions to manage the risks.
  • Responsibility to ensure effective advice on all corporate matters, coordinating and attending board and shareholders meeting and drafting minutes.
  • Maintaining effective contact with relevant individuals in both Vodafone Automotive and Group Legal key functions, such as Regulatory professionals in the Public Policy teams, Group Technology, Tax etc, influencing and assisting in discussions with such personnel to ensure the best legal solution to meet commercial objectives. 
  • Assisting in the development of best practice within Vodafone Automotive with regard to the legal aspects of commercial and contractual matters with regard to product development and deployment.

Who you are

  • Strong knowledge of local corporate and commercial law, with a deep understanding of telco regulatory environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and draft complex contracts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to advise senior management effectively.
  • Proficiency in legal research, document management and using contract management system.
  • Ability to align legal strategies with corporate objectives and local regulatory landscape.
  • Law degree from an accredited institution; advanced degree preferred.
  • Admitted to practice law in the local jurisdiction.
  • 7 - 10 years of experience in a corporate legal department, ideally within telco/technology sector.
  • Fluency in English and Italian.
