About this Role

We are seeking a German-speaking Learning & Development professional to lead the delivery and impact of learning initiatives that prepare new colleagues for success across VOIS. This role is responsible for managing a team of L&D professionals, ensuring high-quality onboarding, induction and capability-building programmes, while collaborating closely with business stakeholders, operations teams and clients. The successful candidate will drive learning effectiveness, digital learning adoption and employee readiness through innovative and engaging training approaches. Based in Cairo, this position offers the opportunity to influence learning outcomes, employee experience and operational performance across the organisation.

What you’ll do

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Learning & Development Impact Instructors to deliver high-quality learning experiences.
  • Manage end-to-end induction and onboarding journeys to support employee readiness and service excellence.
  • Collaborate with Workforce and Resourcing teams to enhance the candidate and employee experience during hiring and onboarding.
  • Ensure training resources, learning plans and delivery approaches meet business and client expectations.
  • Partner with stakeholders to review, update and maintain learning content and knowledge repositories.
  • Create and manage induction, refresher and learning calendars to support business requirements.
  • Measure learning effectiveness, identify knowledge gaps and recommend improvements to future learning programmes.
  • Facilitate seamless transitions between training, onboarding and operational environments.
  • Drive the adoption of digital learning solutions and support learning transformation initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with market stakeholders, clients and internal functions to ensure learning objectives and impact KPIs are achieved.

Who you are

  • Experience within Learning & Development and exposure to broader HR disciplines.
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design, training facilitation, coaching and adult learning methodologies.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with learning impact measurement methodologies, including the Kirkpatrick Model.
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent German language skills (C2 level) and strong English communication skills preferred.
  • Ability to develop engaging and interactive learning materials.
  • Training delivery certification is advantageous.
