Corporate Compliance Coordination Manager
Germany, Home office

Role Purpose:
You will work closely with the UK based Group Corporate Compliance team, the local DE Corporate Integrity/Compliance team and where necessary collaborate with other stakeholders including Cyber Security, Corporate Security, HR, Commercial, Technology, Supply Chain Management (SCM) to drive key objectives to completion.In your role you will identify relevant risk areas/policies for VGSG, resulting in a GAP analysis. The main purpose is establishing a risk matrix and regular reporting structure for VGSG aligned with the Group requirements. In addition the coordination of the relevant responsible teams, policy owner (globally or locally) to avoid any risk exposure for VGSG directors. You will be expected to maintain process descriptions, a map of high-risk policies and other such documentation in your area of responsibilities following the Group risk and compliance roadmap and the policy framework.You will be closely working together with our local compliance team and support the continuous improvement together with Group and Opco teams regarding the policy framework.Drive Compliance for Vodafone Group Services GmbH (VGSG).


With us you will:

  • Creation of GAP Analysis for VGSG and set up of risk matrix 
  • Implementation of compliance-relevant concepts and specifications as well as further development and introduction of compliance processes including development of methods and tools for optimization
  • Ongoing implementation of compliance risk analyzes in the relevant compliance sub C2 General areas (anti-fraud, sales, bribery, AML, sanctions, trade)
  • Reporting to relevant committees, corporate offices and the VGSG board
  • Creation of an“early warning” process and annual VGSG compliance/attastation report
  • Interface to corporate offices of the Vodafone Group and local Opco
  • Management of and participation in projects in the context of cross-departmental, national and international compliance tasks
  • Support with the control of risk assessments and measures of the risk owner as well as analysis of the risk portfolio
  • Analysis and ongoing monitoring of compliance trends and legal changes as well as their implementation

  • Analytical orientation and strong problem-solving skills demonstrated by the ability to structure an issue & analyse alternative solutions
  • Good decision making skills.
  • Team lead experience. Able to work in a matrix environment and to lead virtual / onsite external / internal teams. Able to influence and motivate peers.
  • High communication and presentation skills,the ability to summarize complex and technical topics to a wide range of audiences
  • Represent VGSG to the Vodafone Group compliance community and contribute to Group activities. Strong networking skills required
  • Strong German and English language skills


Preferred Professional Qualifications:

  • Completed university degree in business administration or legal;preferably with a focus on internal controls, risk management or compliance
  • Strong experience in designing and implementing risk & compliance control frameworks.
  • Experience in functional specifications for risk & compliance control related capabilities, development and assessment.
  • Strong knowledge of risk & compliance awareness and customer related comms incl training execution and customer advisory
