We are looking for a commercially driven and customer-focused Manager: Digital Channels & Online Payments to lead the growth and evolution of M-Pesa’s digital channels and online payment ecosystem.

 

The successful candidate will shape and execute strategies that increase digital adoption, transaction volumes, customer engagement and revenue. The role will own the online payments portfolio, develop compelling digital use cases, strengthen partnerships with local and international platforms, and position M-Pesa as the preferred payment method for e-commerce, subscriptions, travel, entertainment, gaming and other online services.

Working across Cross functional teams Technology, Commercial, Product, Operations, Risk, Compliance and Finance, the role will translate customer insights and market trends into secure, scalable and seamless digital experiences. It will also manage product roadmaps, commercial performance, partner delivery and a high-performing team.

The ideal candidate will hold a relevant bachelor’s degree and have at least five years’ experience in digital products, payments, fintech, telecommunications, financial services, e-commerce, technology or business development. Strong commercial acumen, analytical capability, stakeholder management and leadership skills are essential.
