What you’ll do

This role is fully responsible for:

  • Responsible for the Construction Projects of Vodafone properties (Data centers & Office Buildings)
  • Responsible for initiating Project study and Budget Estimation for creating Successful Business case.
  • Responsible for initiating concept & detailed Design for a new Project, managing project Consultant if founded.
  • Responsible for the construction works on site to deliver the project matching all VF requirements and standards.
  • Managing Project total Budget (CAPEX) and cash-flow for the project
  • Managing vendors & contractors to fulfil assigned responsibilities.
  • Support in achieving the department’s savings initiatives.
  • Supervise all Site H&S Activities, Documents & plans in Co-ordination with H&S team to assure Zero Incidents
  • Co-operate with Supply Chain team in Projects Tender to Assign and Award the Vendors for projects.
  • Managing the projects milestone based on project time schedule plan, track all critical paths and ability to do crash timeline.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Construction Projects preferred in data centers, power generation and office buildings
  • Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment used in data centers, including UPS systems, generators, switchgear, power distribution, and cooling systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of redundant electrical systems, cooling systems, airflow containment, and building management systems.
  • Excellent knowledge of using AUTOCAD.
