Description
Title: Salesforce Technical Manager
Location: Newbury
Role purpose:
• Lead and own all technical aspects of Salesforce Integration projects from Requirement to Implementation
• Act as a customer-facing role and contact point for the development team internally
• Act as a bridge between the business and development team(s) by translating business requirements into a software design
• Develop end-to-end solution plan and depending on the project organization, act as a technical lead for the project
• Create technical specifications and contribute to the functional specification.
• Support business analysts in analysis phase and calculate implementation efforts
• Consult the Salesforce/Force.com platform strategy with Salesforce SME and Enterprise Architects and participate in HLD / Blueprint creation.
• Interface specifications review and enrichment to adhere to standard platform specifications (related to Salesforce) and organisation security policies.
• Evaluate the impact of AbInitio platform upgrades and ensure latest features are incorporated within current implementation. Liaise with Platform Vendor for any issues with the platform.
• Work with customers/Product owner in gathering business requirements for data migration needs (if needed for Data Migration Projects)
• Prepare integration / data migration plans including risk, milestones, quality and business sign-off details
• Perform data migration audit, reconciliation and exception reporting
• Manage effective and strong relations with all the internal / external stakeholders
Apply if you have:
• Proven experience in a data analysis
• Strong technical skills in Ab Initio, UNIX shell scripting, SQ and other integration tools
• Ability to lead and manage a team of AbInitio developers both onshore & offshore
• Experience in working on Agile projects.
• Experience designing, integrating, and managing moderately complex solutions (multi-platform, multi-technology, 3rd parties)
• Deep technical knowledge of SOA, REST , SOAP APIs
• Experience with other middleware platforms like MuleSoft would be added advantage
• Experience on Salesforce Cloud
• Strong understanding of ETL, DWH and Report designs with functional and non-functional assessment for global implementations
• Good communication skill and able to work with multiple vendors
