Role Purpose/Business Unit:

 

The Commercial Specialist focuses upon the provision of advice and administration to support in creating commercially attractive models For Vodacom’s Outsourced Contact Center Operations, and support in drafting and managing the performance of the contracts to ensure Vodafone meets its obligations and commitments and delivers the expected financial value agreed pre-contract. 

Your responsibilities will include:

 

Proactively and continuously assess the relevant marketplace and its dynamics, customers, and competitors to provide an unbiased point of view on the performance of markets/brands, supported by facts and evidence 
Develop and implement recommendations from agreed use case scenarios to drive improvement across key customer and business metrics
Pro-active Analysis and Monitoring of contact centre metrics and Outsourced provider Commercial KPI performance and propose solutions to improve if required.
Performs assigned tasks related to building challenging but realistic forecasts and delivering on the company’s plans.
Demonstrates a good understanding of procedures and concepts through extensive experience and support with the delivery of proactive commercial insight and planning.
Overseeing all aspects of Outsourced budget planning, tracking, and reporting by employing thorough analysis to ensure the organization's financial management is efficient and transparent.
Design strategic commercial models to drive key initiatives with a focus on optimizing business performance and achieving objectives.
Conduct scenario planning to assess the most cost-effective outsourcing solutions
Develop comprehensive business cases that support Service to Sales initiatives, providing the necessary data and analysis to drive successful sales strategies and decision-making.
Effectively oversee the analysis of Service to Sales opportunities and the forecasting of conversion rates to optimize sales strategies and ensure accurate revenue projections.
Introduce and refine Performance Models for Outsourced Partners aimed at improving performance on critical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Develop and implement market research and analytical plans, in collaboration with cross‐functional teams.
Identify and utilize appropriate software tools for various types of strategic analysis.
Offer in-depth analysis, valuable insights, and expert guidance throughout the Requests for Information (RFI) and/or Requests for Proposal (RFP) process to support informed decision-making and successful project outcomes.
Review, analyse and evaluate all Requests for Proposal pricing from procurement
Engage in collaboration with executive stakeholders to establish a divisional outsourcing strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Draft comprehensive contracts and detailed Statements Of Work in alignment with defined strategies and operational needs for both new and current partners, fostering transparent and mutually beneficial business relationships.
Support Partner onboarding, Partner exit or other change implementations by ensuring relevant tasks are assigned to ensure change implementation delivery with no adverse impact on customer experience
Collaborate with stakeholders to create and agree on high-level delivery plans, monitoring progress and managing risk by further acting as an information source and communicator between various parties
Conduct monthly audits and compile reconciliations for Outsourced Partners to evaluate its accuracy and alignment with financial expectations.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

 

Minimum of 5 years of Commercial, Analytics, and/or Operational Support experience is essential
3-year finance or commercial degree is essential
