Role Purpose/Business Unit:

 

Make key strategic decisions on which Advertising Technology is best fit for the Digital Lifestyle Services team. Manage external parties and keep them accountable for delivery on Advertising Technology projects. Drive the Advertising technology roadmap, both from a budgetary and delivery perspective, thereby enabling revenue increase and improve operational efficiencies.

Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Strategic input and decisions into future Advertising Technology requirements
  • On-board and project manage new technology products in the Digital Advertising area
  • Advise, guide and implement on advertising best practices, especially text, display and video advertising
  • Manage end to end Advertising Technology roadmap including all Text and Programmatic Elements 
  • Management of operational efficiencies 
  • Manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders for delivery on all Advertising Technology Projects

The Ideal Candidate for this role will have:

 

 

Must have technical / professional qualifications: 

  • Matric
  • Degree/Diploma in Digital Advertising, Related Degree AND at least 8 years’ experience in the media / telecommunications industry   

 

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

  • Project and Technology Product Management
  • Telecommunications Industry
  • Business environment and Strategic thinking
  • Digital Advertising Media background  (Mobile, Video and Technology experience)
  • Strong Communication Skills: written and verbal
