Role Purpose / Business Unit

To conduct detailed business analysis, identify opportunities for improvement, translate business requirements into functional specifications, and support both solution design and post-implementation validation. Acting as a bridge between business and technical teams, the Business Analyst ensures clear communication, alignment of objectives, and the successful delivery of business value.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves developing comprehensive business analyses to identify problems, opportunities, and solutions that address business needs. 
The successful candidate will plan, monitor, and manage the full business analysis lifecycle, facilitate stakeholder requirement-gathering sessions, and ensure that requirements are well-structured and aligned with business objectives.
 They will also translate complex business requirements into clear and actionable specifications for technical teams, oversee requirement documentation and change management, conduct detailed analysis to support decision-making, and collaborate with technical experts in designing effective solutions. 
In addition, the Business Analyst will review implemented solutions and validate their performance to ensure they meet business expectations.

Qualifications, Experience and Attributes

The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of Business Analysis, Business Intelligence, Project Management, Agile project delivery methodologies, technical infrastructure and systems, risk management principles, and telecommunications business processes. They should demonstrate excellent documentation and requirement-writing capabilities, strong communication and presentation skills, the ability to engage and influence senior management, and outstanding problem-solving and analytical abilities. Strong organizational skills, stakeholder management expertise, negotiation capabilities, and the confidence to work effectively across multiple levels of the organization are also essential.

Candidates must have a minimum of two years of direct Business Analysis experience. Experience working in a technical IT and/or Engineering environment is required, while previous experience as a Project Manager, Team Leader, or General Manager would be advantageous. Exposure to Business Intelligence and reporting functions is also considered a desirable asset.
