Job summary

The position is for highly skilled and experienced Manager to oversee facilities management for our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating activities related to the maintenance, improvement of our facilities, as well as overseeing construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise a facilities team, providing leadership, guidance, and support, in compliance with Health and Safety legislation.
  • Verify and monitor property contracts for offices and shops (renewals, terminations, etc.).
  • Ensure adherence to local building codes, fire safety, and environmental regulation
  • Negotiate contracts for cleaning, security, and maintenance services.
  • Coordinate projects, including construction, renovation, and maintenance of physical structures and facilities.
  • Provide key information and Up date reports on interventions to improve work eficiency
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the management of facilities projects.
  • Schedule and run routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Oversee maintenance activities and utilities to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Design buildings and offices up to code and accurately follow maintenance and netwok infrastructure protocol.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, building codes, and safety guidelines for all facilities and construction projects.
  • Acting as a relay for Warehouses and supply Chain.
  • Communicate  and overseeing external contractors and vendors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
  • Track invoices, payments, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Managing waste disposal and cattering.
  • Prepare and manage facilities budgets.
  • Draw up, monitor and control budgets, expenses, and resources for facilities and civil works projects.
  • Track expenses and implement cost-saving measures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or related field. 
  • Proven experience in facilities management with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of building systems and construction methods,
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to make sound decisions, solve problems, and work effectively under pressure
