Role purpose
In the area of Prepaid Revenue streams, this function consists in supporting the Revenue Assurance Manager in building the practical framework required to:
• Improve assurance on figures reported as revenue
• Reduce historical suspense and address current month suspense
• Design business process for areas where guidance is required due to minimal or non-existent policies around the function covered
• Identify actual and potential revenue leakage
• Implement controls in the area of Prepaid end-to-end
• Implement, review, modify and manage controls around Frits – TCG
• Lead appropriate actions to stop/reduce and prevent any identified leakage
Key Accountabilities
• Review traffic movement and identification of any potential fraudulent around areas covered.
• Engage key stakeholders and develop appropriate processes.
• Regular reporting via dashboard and activity universe
• Active involvement in the product steering committee and testing related products and services.
• Provide weekly/monthly reports in a timely manner
• Report on all revenue loss incidents into the MA reporting for areas covered.
• Implement, review, modify and manage Big 5 & RA Manuals controls list to cover emerging risks and better management of existing risks
• Evaluate risks & drive compliance to mitigate risks and ensure FTR change implementation.
• Drive closure of exceptions until resolution
Qualifications, Experience and Attributes
• 5 years Bachelor’s degree in Economy or Finance with a good IT and/or Technical Engineering background.
• 2 years Revenue Assurance experience, Fraud, Network, Billing or Audit in telecom environment
• Knowledge of different Telecom billing systems is necessary.
• Computer literacy
• Ability to audit cross-functional business process.

Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
• In the area of prepaid revenue stream, analyze business processes versus control points in place in order to continuously assess pertinence of controls and reconciliations. In this regard, he/she takes necessary actions for enhancing the controls and reconciliations.

• Following controls and reconciliations enhancements identified during the two activities above, design the changes and ensure their effective implementation.
• Contribute to risk assessment review and change management process by giving its recommendations in terms of configurations and/or process, which could become breaches of revenue leakage.
• Establish incident report for identified leakages.
• Provide recommendation and guidance on investigations performed.
• In order to guarantee business continuity within the team, he/she will exceptionally extend his/her scope to other revenue stream.
