Role Purpose

Strategy

  •  Support Vodacom Fixed Network & Tech Entreprise Services to build an optimal 3 Year Fiber Network Strategy (NLD, Metro, FTTH\B)
  • Support Vodacom Fixed Network & Tech Entreprise Services to build an optimal 3 Year International Fiber Connectivity Strategy in Line with Vodacom INS MPLS Evolution & Plan
  • Support Vodacom Fixed Network & Tech Entreprise Services to build the most effective National & International Fiber Network Resilience Strategy to meet and exceed the National Regulatory Standard KPIs
  • Support Vodacom Fixed Network & Tech Entreprise Services to build Offers for Governmental  & 3rd Parties Bids

Planning, Design & Test

  • Support Vodacom Fixed Network & Tech Entreprise Services to plan and design new fiber infrastructures NLD, Metro, FTTH \ B for the Financial Year Rollout
  • Support Vodacom Fixed Network & Tech Entreprise Services to design Network Resilience in compliance with Group Tech 25-30 strategy
  • Support Vodacom Fixed Network & Tech Entreprise Services to perform Proof Of Concept and validate New Technologies for Next Generation Fiber Networking
  • Interface with Vendors Engineering & Advise Vodacom Fixed Network & Tech Entreprise Services on Technical Trainings
  • Advise Vodacom Fixed Network & Tech Entreprise Services on Next Generation Fiber Networking

Performances Management

  •  Support Vodacom Fixed Network & Tech Entreprise Services on plans to upgrade fiber link running to congestion
  • Support Vodacom Fixed Network & Tech Entreprise Services on Optic Fibers Network changes implementation
  • Support Vodacom Fixed Network & Tech Entreprise Services on Optic Fiber Active Equipment Sourcing (hardware & Software)

Technical Support

  • Support Vodacom Fixed Network & Tech Entreprise Services on CBU & VBU SLA with Corporates
  • Support Vodacom Fixed Network & Tech Entreprise Services on Fiber Maintenance Standard & Installations Best Practices

Project Implementation

  • Support Vodacom Fixed Network & Tech Entreprise Services on the installation of the new fiber links NLD, FTTS, FTTH \ B & New International Connectivity

Compliance

  • Support Vodacom Fixed Network & Tech Entreprise Services on new project implementations (SoW and HSE)
  •  Support Vodacom Fixed Network & Tech Entreprise Services on compliance to ARPTC fiber planning & implementation standard
