Role Purpose

Support the Core Networks team to Assess, Plan, Integrate and Support Enterprise Business with Business Solutions Expertise in line with Vodafone Standards and regulations. Operate hands on role involving, Custom Integrations with Enterprise Customers within Vodafone Timelines and Hence improve brand policy and service assurance.

Key Accountabilities
Ensure that Vulnerability Management activities are carried out across the Customer Network and External perimeter, lining-up with owners about detected vulnerabilities
Plan and coordinate all activities required to provide extensive Service assurance – Monitoring, Performance 
Ensure that approval of network architectures follow correct processes.
Develop Processes, Procedures and Policies for Change and Incident Management for Senior Management within Vodafone standards 
Perform risk analysis, support and track remediation plans also governing the risk acceptance process as results of Network Audits and Business Continuity Governance
Facilitate interactions between Core Networks and other teams, managing relationship with Internet community, Engineering, Enterprise and Operation teams
Lead incident response and post incident activities for high severity Enterprise Customer incidents ensuring that lessons learnt and documented are distributed to all key stakeholders
Advices and executes administrative activities of Network transformation decisions related to the planning, deployment and optimization of Networks and service enablers

Competencies
Strong understanding of the end to end Enterprise Network Architecture
Experience in IP Network Planning, Dimensioning and Audit 
Experience in Denial of Service attacks and mitigation systems, Intrusion Detection and Prevention
Experience in Service Assurance Frameworks

Qualifications and Experience
3+ years of relevant experience in similar roles within structured and digitally oriented companies
Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Service Management, Computer Science or Telecommunication Engineering (or an equivalent education path) 
Certifications in Cyber Security, Service Management, Service Strategy, ITILv3
Very good knowledge of networking principles and protocols: IP technologies, IP (Routing, Switching),  BGP, MPLS (option A/B/C), RR,  Layer 3 VPN and Layer 2 VPN/VPLS/EVPN, IS-IS, OSPF, VPC, equivalent knowledge of CCNP/CCIE; 
 Good knowledge of firewalls: Checkpoint/Juniper/CISCO ASA/ F5/Nokia/ Fortinet or equivalent.
