What you’ll do

Role purpose:

 

As a Business Analyst and Financial Admin Controller (BAFAC) for a respective region, you need to have very good analytical and financial skills that links with a good understanding of the competitive Telecom Landscape in Mozambique, Self driven and excellent team player that can work with field teams to ensure timely analysis and reports to optimize the business and driving growth in the Region to win market share against competitors.


Key Accountabilities:

   

  • Gather and analyse data to provide actionable insights to the Regional Teams;
  • Provide daily, weekly and monthly structured and adhoc reports as per the SnD strategy;
  • End to end management and reconciliation of stock distributed i.e. Simcards, Registration and customer devices and Vouchers;
  • Plan, monitor and reconcile Regional budgets to ensure proper ROI in all projects executed;
  • Work with Regional Teams to optimize costs and maximize profits by turning around the financial loss/ underperforming sites and;
  • also cost conscious through maintaining threshold of Subscribers Acquisition and Reload Costs.


What we are looking in you:

 

  • Bachelor Degree in Business or another related field;
  • Experience in, and knowledge of telecoms services, applying this expertise in a customer-focused way;
  • Excellent communication skills including presenting & negotiation with Customers and up to Band F and E audiences;
  • Strong Analytical and Logical skils;
  • Interpersonal Skills - Ability to work effectively across teams and senior management;
  • Self-Motivation: A results-driven approach with a strong sense of initiative;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Active listening to listen and address team members´ concerns;
  • Knowledge of Profit and Loss (PnL) Management – End to end financial skills from planning to reconciliation.
