What you’ll do
Role purpose:
To design, plan, and implement Core and VAS solutions that ensure network capacity, reliability, scalability, and readiness to support business growth, service innovation, and operational excellence.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead the end-to-end planning, design, deployment, stabilization, and handover of Core & VAS projects;
- Develop scalable, resilient, and cost-effective technical solutions aligned with business and network strategies;
- Perform capacity planning and technology evolution to ensure network readiness for current and future demand;
- Coordinate the technical implementation of projects, including vendor management, testing, acceptance, and engineering governance;
- Produce and maintain engineering documentation and ensure effective knowledge transfer and successful handover to Operations.
What we are looking in you:
- Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering;
- Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline;
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Core Network and/or VAS Planning & Engineering within a telecommunications environment;
- Proven experience in network design, capacity planning, deployment, testing, and operational handover;
- Good understanding of IP networking, virtualization, and Linux operating systems;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Suite, and engineering documentation tools;
- Knowledge of Core Network and VAS technologies, including CS, PS, EPC/IMS, HLR/HSS, Signaling, USSD, and Messaging platforms;
- Experience in telecom network planning, solution design, implementation, and project delivery;
- Experience working in virtualized environments, including virtual infrastructure, Linux-based systems, virtual network functions (VNFs) and Containerized network function (CNFs);
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and capacity planning skills;
- Effective stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills.
