Job Description:
We are looking for a proactive intern with a strong interest in telecommunications networks to support fault management in CORE network elements (Switches, MGWs, Routers, Servers). The goal is to ensure all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met, contributing to the network’s performance and reliability.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the identification and resolution of faults in CORE network components, in collaboration with the NOC/Switching team.
  • Interact with teams such as Switching, BIT, VAS, and ASOC to facilitate problem resolution.
  • Monitor CORE network performance using tools like Netcool, NetAct, among others.
  • Participate in responding to critical and emergency incidents, following escalation procedures.
  • Perform daily Level 1 (L1) maintenance routines to ensure compliance with defined KPIs (CSR, ASR, PDP Success Rate, Paging SR, LU SR, Roaming LU SR, NTAS-Registration SR, etc.).

 

Requirements and Desired Skills:

  • Ongoing higher education in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Basic knowledge of CORE/BIT and VAS networks is an advantage.
  • Interest in network monitoring tools and diagnostic methodologies.
  • Ability to work in a team, in shifts, under pressure, and multitask.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
