Role purpose:
Responsible for managing all treasury-related activities to ensure optimal liquidity, compliance, and accurate financial reporting. The role supports operational and strategic objectives through effective foreign exchange management, cash flow forecasting, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Key Accountabilities:
• Manage foreign payments and execute daily FX deals after payments reach the dealing room.
• Measure treasury day to day operations and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
• Manage treasury reporting & compliance.
• Manage month end activities and reporting.
• Manage cash & liquidity.
• Monitor market performance and macroeconomic indicators.
• Manage letters of credit (LCs), bank guarantees, and other treasury processes.
• Respond to treasury-related ad hoc requests.
• Recommend to the management process improvements to align with cash and liquidity best practises.
• Manage banking relationships.
What we are looking in you:
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• In-depth knowledge of treasury operations, FX markets, and banking instruments.
• Proficiency in financial reporting and forecasting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of General Accounting practices, IFRS, and PGC NIRF.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to develop financial models.
• Passion for process transformation and digitalization initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Portuguese (written and verbal).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to details.
