Role Purpose 
Cyber Defence is one of Vodacom critical Cyber Security teams. The Cyber Defence team’s mission is to deliver a highly effective end-to-end  Cyber Defence service. They are responsible for proactively identifying threats and vulnerabilities; detecting and mitigating cyber events and managing cyber security incident responses to minimize service impact and provide a secure digital future for our customers. The expertise of this team should drive Cyber security improvement across Vodacom Lesotho.  This requires close collaboration with Vodacom Group, internal operational teams and external partners.
Key Accountabilities

  • Proactively prevent Cyber incidents while reactively any detected Cybersecurity incidents.
  • Built, maintain and support CHARM requirements related to Cyber Defense.
  • Implement, Upgrade, maintain and refine end-to-end Security logging and Monitoring tools.
  • Timely manage Security Incidents according to Security Incident Management process.
  • Facilitate implementation, management and optimization of Cyber Defense policies, standards and procedures.
  • Implement actions to close Vodacom Lesotho cyber risks, audits and reviews on security monitoring and incident management.
  • Manage the KPI's & KRI's, incident Closure, Closure of DLP Incidents. Manage Reporting to check performance.
  • Vulnerability Management (CSAN , Pentest & program etc)
  • Development skills to plug in to DevSecOps and Application Security.
  • Cyber Threat modelling 

Competencies

  • Cyber SOC, Intrusion Analysis, Network troubleshooting or Reverse Engineering, Cybersecurity experience.
  • Experience in the use of security tools such as CyberArk or any Privileged Access Management tools and SIEM.
  • Project Management Skills.
  • Analytical thinking.

Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor of Engineering in Computer System & Networks or Electronics/ Degree in electrical or Information Engineering/Computer Science/Statistics or equivalent.
Added advantage

Advanced competences in Network and/or endpoint Security.
