Role Purpose/Business Unit:
The position will champion the transformation of fixed services by identifying new revenue opportunities, optimizing product portfolios, and enhancing go-to-market approaches to maximize penetration, adoption, and profitability. This includes end-to-end ownership of proposition design, pricing strategy, and commercial performance, ensuring alignment with customer needs, network capabilities, and broader business objectives.
Through strong cross-functional leadership, the role will translate strategic intent into execution, accelerating growth across FWA and FTTX while strengthening ISP competitiveness, improving customer experience, and enabling long-term value creation.
Your responsibilities will include:
Commercial Strategy & Growth
- Define and execute the Fixed Commercial strategy, aligning to market opportunities, competitive dynamics, and growth ambitions.
- Lead the development of prepaid fixed broadband propositions, targeting underserved and value-conscious segments.
- Drive revenue growth through: ARPU expansion, Customer acquisition and base growth.
- Upsell and cross-sell (including fixed-mobile convergence).
- Translate market trends and customer insights into actionable commercial plans.
- Own product and proposition strategy, including service plans, bundles, pricing, installations, support channels, and competitive positioning.
Product & Proposition Management
- Own the full product lifecycle across Fixed Broadband, including Prepaid, postpaid, and hybrid service plans, Bundles, pricing models, and value-added services, Installation and fulfilment models.
- Ensure strong commercial viability and competitiveness of all propositions.
- Benchmark against competitors and continuously refine offerings.
Go-to-Market & Distribution
- Define and execute go-to-market strategies, including Channel strategy (retail, digital, partner ecosystems), Distribution models optimised for prepaid accessibility and scale, Segmentation and targeted acquisition campaigns.
- Drive marketing effectiveness and brand positioning in broadband.
- Optimise sales funnel performance and conversion rate.
Customer Lifecycle & Experience
- Design and manage the end-to-end customer lifecycle, with strong application of prepaid principles: Acquisition and onboarding, Usage stimulation and recharge behaviour, Retention and churn management.
- Work closely with Customer Experience teams to improve activation journeys, support models, customer satisfaction and trust.
Commercial Performance & Optimisation
- Track and manage key commercial KPIs: Revenue, ARPU, subscriber growth, Churn, acquisition cost, lifetime value.
- Drive continuous improvement across the broadband value chain to enhance profitability.
- Develop business cases and financial models to support decision-making.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Lead cross-functional delivery teams across Commercial, Technology, Finance, Operations, and Customer Experience, sales to drive coordinated execution.
- Collaborate with Technology (network capability alignment), Finance (pricing, business cases, profitability), Sales & Distribution (channel execution) and Customer Experience (journey optimisation).
- Drive projects toward clear business outcomes, execution milestones, and measurable results.
- Build alignment and consensus across multiple stakeholders and operating companies.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Degree in Commerce, Engineering, Telecommunications, Science, or related discipline.
- Postgraduate qualification (MBA, Masters, or equivalent) advantageous.
- Strong experience in Fixed Broadband, ISP, FWA, FTTH, or Telecommunications strategy.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in broadband commercial management within.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong strategic planning and project management capability.
- Commercial understanding of ISP, FWA, and FTTX business models.
- Ability to manage complex stakeholder environments.
- Excellent influencing, negotiation, and leadership capability.
- Strong understanding of Fixed Broadband strategy and execution best practices.
- Knowledge of FWA, FTTH, FTTB, ISP operating models, and broadband market dynamics.
- Understanding the Fixed broadband commercial frameworks.
- Experience in broadband growth strategy, customer lifecycle management, and operational transformation.
- Strong understanding of telecom market trends, competition, and consumer broadband behaviour.
