Role Purpose/Business Unit:
Lead and strategize the National Network Property team, ensuring optimal property portfolio performance and compliance. Oversee stakeholder engagement, drive automation, and manage vendor contracts. Handle lease and electricity operations, support regional targets, and implement cost-saving initiatives. Manage tower upgrades and ensure efficient policy execution.
Your responsibilities will include:
Manage and lead the National Network Property team
Draft and implement a strategy for National Network Property
Cross regional tracking of Property portfolio performance, collation of information and report at senior leadership level (including regulatory reporting)
Assist with and/or drive all projects within National Network Property space.
Ensure Audit compliance and manage and resolve all audit findings
Internal and External stakeholder management and engagement at senior management
Liaise with Tower companies and ensure delivery against targets
Drive automation and AI enablement of all administrative work
Manage outsourced functions including VOIS
Formulate and manage all NNP policies and processes and ensure regional execution within statutory guidelines
Respond to queries relating to NNP from Competition commission, ICASA etc.
Accountable for all 3rd party sharing (incoming and outgoing)
Support regions in achieving their regional roll-out targets
SPOC for all escalations on regional property related matters
Accountable for National Lease management, covering.
Come up with Innovative ideas/projects/plans to drive cost saving initiatives across the portfolio nationally and ensure implementation
Manage tower upgrades and increase available shareable towers.
Manage approval process for tower additions, e.g. antennas, m/w dishes, fibre etc.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Degree / Diploma in BSC -QS/ Building Science/ Civil Engineering/ Project Management/ Business Management/ Town Planning) – Essential
A Formal course in Management (e.g. MDP/MDC) (Desirable)
8 + Years relevant functional experience
2 to 3 years Specialist or Supervisory or Management experience.
