Role Purpose/Business Unit:
- The Partner Enablement & Governance Specialist plays a pivotal role in the success of Vodacom Business’s Public Sector Sales strategy by acting as the operational backbone for Sales Partners. This role is designed to empower partners to sell effectively, streamline administrative processes, and ensure governance and compliance across all partner-related activities.
- To enable, support, and govern the performance and operations of Sales Partners within the Public Sector Sales environment. This role ensures that partners are equipped to sell effectively, are administratively supported, and operate within compliance and performance frameworks that drive revenue growth for Vodacom Business..
- A critical component of the role also involves supporting Vodacom’s regulatory obligations to ICASA, including project planning, installer administration, and financial tracking. This ensures that Vodacom Business remains compliant while delivering high-quality service to public sector clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
Partner Management
• Resolve Partner Disputes and manage Commission Reports
• Administer Edu Bundles
• Support the RT15 Once-off and Ongoing Commissions
• Provide Payment Summaries and track Mobile Base Movement
• Support partners with administrative needs, including Facilities and systems provisioning and access
• Govern and manage the partner leads funnel
• Handle Partner Commission Disputes
Partner Reporting
• Establish, communicate and drive accountability of Partner Targets
• Monitor and evaluate Partner Performance
• Interpret performance data to improve delivery against Sales KPIs
• Collaborate with Regional Managers and Sales Leadership for Partner performance reviews
• Drive partner engagement through the management of a Partner cadence
ICASA Obligations & Project Administration
• Lead Project Planning and Progress Reporting for all regulatory obligations
• Monitor Project Budgets and Expenditure for all regulatory obligations
• Maintain Supplier/Installer details on the Vodacom systems
• Capture Purchase Orders for suppliers and installers
• Support Supplier/Installer invoicing
• Track Network Connectivity Issues
Stakeholder Management
• Managing Stakeholders: Strategic management of stakeholders to achieve success in the market. Builds collaborative partnerships and alliances for market success.
• Leverage a comprehensive network to facilitate project delivery and resolve issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Provide specialised and technical support to internal and external stakeholders to ensure achievement of functional and organisational objectives
• Manage the multiple internal & external stakeholders across the landscape
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Relevant 3-year degree / diploma or equivalent experience
- 3+ years’ work experience in operations, contract management, or related environment, with:
- Strong understanding of public sector procurement
- Experience with Partner/Channel Management
- Proficiency in CRM and opportunity management systems
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills
