Role Purpose/Business Unit:

 

The role reports to EHOD Reward & Benefits and is responsible and accountable for, amongst others, the below Reward and Benefits within Vodacom South Africa. This includes the delivery, maintenance, and where applicable, the administration of these Rewards & Benefits.

Your responsibilities will include:

 

Benefits:

  • Maintain online staff benefits information.
  • Administration of retirement funds and risk benefits
  • Co-ordinate benefits review 
  • Implement changes on SAP (Payroll) and SuccessFactors systems. 
  • Medical aid administration and reporting 
  • Housing loan administration and reporting
  • Design and Implement benefits projects.
  • Administer funeral benefits scheme.  
  • Co-ordinate and administer the BEE share scheme. 
  • Review annual service level agreements
  • Prepare content and coordinate training/ inductions.          


Reward:

  • Reward Administration
  • Compile reports for reward models.
  • Reward data validation
  • Job matching and submission of salary surveys.
  • Consolidating Annual Reward Statement Data
  • Compile offer letters and load onto DocuSign.
  • Compile retention letters
  • Retention payments
  • Project Co-ordination

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

 

  • Diploma/Degree
  • GRP or Benefit-related certification would be advantageous.
  • This could also be a related qualification with a compensation background e.g. Finance - thus not just HR related qualification 
  • 3 – 6 years of sound experience in Reward and Benefits
  • Strong Excel Skills
  • Data Analytics
  • Compliance and Governance
  • Good Communication and presentation skills


Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:

  • Skilled at working with numerical data, spotting patterns and trends, and using this to inform action taking
  • Strong experience in driving high-performance culture and producing high-performance teams   
  • Effective written communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to activate spirit. Proven ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
  • Project management experience with a track record of timeous delivery
