Senior Specialist: Branded Retail Incentives

Role Purpose/Business Unit:
In this role you will be responsible leading end-to-end Incentive Management for Vodacom Branded Retail that drive sales and enhance performance, you will drive and engage with stakeholders internal and external, to align incentive modelling with strategic goals. You will also manage with incentives activities including but not limited to OEM and Hotshots incentive performance tracking, payouts, analysis, trends and insights.
Your responsibilities will also include managing business Partner VIP incentives management and reporting, whilst collaborating and manage incentive suppliers to ensure SLA management, timely delivery and quality of incentive support and services rendered as well as monitoring and analysing the effectiveness of incentives model, providing regular reports and insights to management.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
Operational Management:
- Responsible for end-to-end Incentive Management for Vodacom Branded Retail that drive sales and enhance performance.
- Drive and engage with stakeholders internal and external, to align incentive modelling with channel and retail strategic goals.
- Manage incentives activities including but not limited to OEM and Hotshots incentive performance tracking, payouts, analysis, trends and insights.
- Responsible for Business Partner VIP incentives management and reporting,
- Collaborate and manage incentive suppliers to ensure SLA management, timely delivery and quality of incentive support and services.
- Contribute various incentive information to be shared with business, business partners and suppliers
- Drive and manage compliance and adoption by Business Partners and regions Qliksense reporting for channel.
- Provide input and compile information focused on channel performance, commercial behaviours, trends, learnings, and insights, as needed for the channel.
Reporting Management:
- Provide senior leadership , other internal and external stakeholders with reports, as well as interpret and analyse management information.
- Provide a range of reports to ensure that agreed SLA’s and performance are measured and monitored on an on-going basis.
- Ad hoc reporting as required from time to time.
Stakeholder Management:
- Ensure that all relevant internal stakeholders are aligned toward common business objectives.
- Engage, collaborate, and journey closely with cross-functional teams and other support structures to ensure enablement of business priorities and initiatives within the Branded Channel.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Technical / professional qualifications and experience:
- Matric / Grade 12 (Essential) and
- Relevant 3-year Degree/National Diploma in Business Management /Operations/Commerce essential and
- A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience essential in:
- Commercial and analytics pertaining channel performance.
- System reporting applications e.g., Qlik sense, Power BI, or other globally recognised module
- Database experience (data extraction, transformation, and interpretation)
- Channel model reporting and dashboards development
- Experience preferably in Telecoms industry experience in consumer /retail business operations areas
- Incentives Management (advantageous)
